As of late, Black female celebraties have really been showing off their natural hair. It's a beautiful movement and although it's probably more for themselves than for anyone else, it's showing young girls that it is perfectly ok to wear their hair as it grows out their heads. It is also showing women from the age of 20 upward that they have physical representations in Hollywood and the music industry and therefore, they can make it in this world with their natural hair.
One particular style that seems to be trending again is the fro or afro, a style made popular in the '70s and a signature of the great Angela Davis.
Let's take a look at the celebrities who are bringing the fro back to life.

These fros are so beautiful. I wanted to show women wearing their fros outside of just magazine editorials, photo shoots and performances. Women showing their fros in daily life and on the red carpet is the biggest display of self confidence and overall comfort with who they are.
